I learned to sew at my great grandmother’s side...
I still remember sitting near her while she worked—watching fabric become something useful, something beautiful, something meant to last.
She didn’t rush. She didn’t overcomplicate it. She just made things slowly, with care and quiet confidence.
That’s where my love for sewing began, and it’s the same feeling I return to every time I create today.
A simple way of making has stayed with me.
I design quilt patterns and heirloom textile pieces for people who want to slow down and create something meaningful with their hands.
I know how easy it is to feel intimidated by sewing—or to believe there’s a “right” way you’re supposed to do it—but I don’t believe that’s what this craft is about.
It’s about learning as you go.
It’s about letting things be simple.
It’s about trusting your hands.
